The oldest national park in Sarawak. This national park contains almost all variety of Bornean vegetation, abundant wildlife, secluded beaches, trekking trails, jungle streams and waterfalls. The journey to the park involves a 37-kiolometre car ride from Kuching to Kampung Bako and from Kampung Bako a 20-minutes boat ride to the park. One must not miss the chance to sight the star of Bako National Park, the Proboscis Monkey is Endemic to the Island of Borneo.
